An Innovation Pavilion is coming to the Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The I-Square Pavilion will be a space for local small businesses to pitch their products to an audience that includes local celebrities, investors, and entrepreneurs, according to an article in Small Business Trends.
The pavilion, which is located on the hotel's
casino floor, opens on April 6 and will be open to the public through May
17.
Small Business Trends talked with Esther Han, director of business development at Excalibur, about the motivation behind the pavilion and what entrepreneurs should expect.

There's such an incredible opportunity for entrepreneurship to
thrive in this city, but for many of them, it's a lonely road. Small
business owners often feel like no one knows about them and no one wants
to get involved because they feel like they can't get far."
We also knew that every small business owner has different needs.
"We heard
from entrepreneurs that their greatest challenge was a lack of funds
and resources.
We wanted to create a space where small businesses could
share their ideas and needs, in a comfortable setting that's out of
their traditional environment."
The most important thing for me is creating an event that is interactive and has a sense of community.

ask questions, learn from each other and see what others are doing."

"Every idea is on display, you can taste things, listen to a music performance, and even test out a health and wellness product."
There will be small business speakers on hand, and one of them is going to be a seven-year-old.
